   Hello Everyone, today i will show you how to increase download speed in uTorrent .First of all what is uTorrent?
First of all let me tell you what actually uTorrent is. uTorrent is a freeware software, which is a BitTorrent client and it is used to download files from a peer-to-peer network of torrent users. µTorrent is available for Microsoft Windows, Mac OS X, and Android. For those who use Linux, they can use µTorrent Server.
Currently there are two versions of uTorrent, one is paid and another one is free. The paid version is known as uTorrent Plus and it have some additional features like integrated file conversion, anti-virus and a built in media player.

How To Increase Download Speed of uTorrent:Check The Seeders

    To increase the downloading speed of your torrent, first and foremost thing you should do is to check how many seeders are there of that particular file. Seeders are those people who continue to share the file after it has been downloaded. After downloading that file, instead of removing torrent from client, they choose to upload it’s content so that other people who are downloading content of the same torrent can get more faster download speed. The more the seeders there are the faster the download will be.

How to speed up in uTorrent.

First of all Make Sure to Have the Latest Version of µTorrent.You can download and Install the Latest Version.

1. Open uTorrent and start download a torrent.
   
2.  Open µTorrent, And go to Options > Preferences and do what i did! (check also what i checked)
   
3. Now open Bandwidth, The right to Maximum upload rate, Put a smaller value  not less than 7 kb/s because uTorrent will decrease exponentially and download speed, For example 8 kb/s and the right to Maximum download rate put a higher bandwidth than Eg. 3000 kb/s.
   
4. Now, Move on to BitTorrent and do what i did in screen shot below! (Check whatever i have checked)
   
5. Now move on to the Queueing , and follow exactly what i did in screen shot!
   
6. When a download is in progress,Right click the downloaded torrent and do this: right click on the file which is being downloaded, and go to Bandwidth Allocation > High , After that you are done.
   

  In these settings, it is always interesting to watch the number of seeds (people sharing) and Leechers (people downloading) a torrent. When the number of people wanting to download is larger than just those who are distributing a file, the download speed tends to be very low.

  The same happens when the torrent is very new, because there are few people who have the entire file to share.

  So when doing a search on torrent sites, always arrange the results by number of seeders : the larger it is, the better your chances of getting higher download speed.
